Designed for high-school students passionate about engineering and science, this program delivers working prototypes and research outputs across AI & robotics, physics & materials, electronics & electrical engineering, mechanical & control engineering, industrial design & product development, and environmental sustainability—with optional pathways to Singapore-recognized fairs.
- Target Students: Grades 9–12
- Program Dates: Arranged based on the student’s availability
- Format: Hybrid, online/offline mentorship + on-site lab/fabrication sessions; scheduled flexibly by the student’s availability and location
Program Highlights
- Build a functional prototype and complete a research/engineering report for a strong admission portfolio.
- Maintain a complete engineering log and produce a project video for application and defense materials.
- Cultivate research rigor including literature review, experimentation/measurement, data analysis, modeling & simulation, iteration & validation, and ethics/safety.
- Preparation and submission support for SSEF (Singapore Science & Engineering Fair) and ISEF(International Science & Engineering Fair), subject to eligibility and organizer rules (optional).
- Guidance for paper/poster submissions to suitable venues, depending on project readiness (optional).
Curriculum Overview
The roadmap is co-designed by the student and our advisory instructor to match interests and timelines. According to typical milestones, we begin by scoping the problem, then review the literature and assess feasibility; next we design the system covering circuits, mechanics, and algorithms, and move on to experimentation and prototyping; afterward we collect and analyze data, iterate with controlled tests to validate improvements, produce a demo video and maintain an engineering log, and finally prepare a poster or paper and deliver the presentation.
Project Outcomes(depends on the student’s specific project)
- Working prototype (with BOM/drawings/firmware/code)
- Research/engineering report and complete engineering log
- Demonstration video and innovation pitch materials
- Paper/poster submission (optional)
- Entry preparation for related competitions (optional)
